Wake Forest Magazine is published in print three times a year in Spring, Summer and Fall by the Wake Forest University Office of University Advancement. The magazine also has a website component that is published year-round with stories and photos that don’t make the print edition.
As an award winning publication, the Wake Forest Magazine needed a website to visually represent the quality of the content which it produces. The rich, multi-spread stories accompanied by tremendous photography needed a web presence that was complementary to the print edition.
Wake Forest Magazine tasked 336 Creative with creating an experience that not only encompassed a fresh look and new responsive design, but was also built in a modular way to allow customization of the story layout based on the content. To accomplish this, we designed and built a variety of modular publishing options and layouts that allows the Magazine team to build the web versions of their stories piece by piece. It is one of our most customized WordPress sites to date, and we’re really pleased with how it turned out.
